Hey everyone, Brandon Damon here from Auxiliary Cinema. I’ve been diving into some exciting new projects lately, and I’m thrilled to share one of them with you. Teaming up with the Bruisers again was an absolute blast, and we’ve put together another fantastic music video.
This time, we experimented with some 360 video and my trusty #fpole right in front of Motor City Casino in Detroit. The video is for Fat Ray’s track “Old Faithful” off his record Santa Barbara, featuring the unique sound of Bruiser Wolf. By the way, Bruiser Wolf has a new record out called Dope Game Stupid – it’s definitely worth checking out.
The entire video was shot in front of the Motor City Casino in downtown Detroit. Ray’s opening line gave me the perfect cue for the location, and it worked out brilliantly. Believe it or not, we filmed this video in just 20 minutes! We hopped out of our cars on the corner, started shooting, and were done before we knew it. Sometimes, having to work quickly pushes you to innovate and get creative on the spot.
I’m really proud of how this one turned out – it might just be my most prolific film to date. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to download Santa Barbara now on Bandcamp!
